Finding Books

There are 3 ways to search specifically for books through the JSOU Library:

1. The OneSearch Books tab from the library homepage

2.  The Online Catalog (the library's database of books, eBooks, audiobooks, eAudiobooks, DVDs)

3. eBooks in OverDrive (eBooks and eAudiobooks), Taylor & Francis eBooks, and CRCnetBASE

1. OneSearch Books

‚ÄčThe library's Online Catalog and eBook collections are indexed in the discovery system. This means you can search for print books, articles, and eBooks without searching each separate database individually. Results can be narrowed using the filters on the left of the results page.

However, the library's catalog must be periodically uploaded into the discovery system.  For the most up-to-date book results search the Online Catalog directly.

2. Online Catalog

The catalog contains a mix of records for books in print, eBooks and audiobooks, PDF documents for public domain works, and links to open access (but copyright protected) works available online.

For the most current results search the Online Catalog directly.

3. eBooks

If you only want to search for eBooks, search directly in:

OverDrive

Taylor & Francis eBooks

CRCnetBASE
