Setting up Google Scholar library links

Google scholar is Google's specialized, academically oriented search engine which searches Google Books, scholarly articles, and other educationally geared literature. However, the majority of results will not be available in the full text. By setting up "Library Links" you have the option to affiliate yourself with the JSOU Library (library account & login required), which will allow you to link directly to the full text of articles if they are available through the JSOU Library databases.

3. Library Links

4. Search for JSOU

5. Save


Finding articles

Now that you have set up "Library Links", there will be a link indicating if an article is available through the JSOU Library's databases.


1. Conduct a search in Google Scholar:

2. Click on the "FullText@JSOULibrary" link and login with your assigned username/password.

3. Your article result will open up in the appropriate database subscribed to by the JSOU Library.
